Description: “The Emperor’s New Groove” (2000) tells the story of Emperor Kuzco, a self-centered Incan ruler who plans to demolish a village to construct an extravagant summer retreat named “Kuzcotopia” for his 18th birthday. This causes distress for Pacha, the village leader. After firing his scheming adviser Yzma, she plots to seize the throne by poisoning Kuzco. Her clumsy assistant, Kronk, mistakenly gives Kuzco a potion that turns him into a llama instead of killing him. Kronk tries to dispose of Kuzco but, after a moral dilemma, leaves him on Pacha’s cart.
Pacha finds the transformed Kuzco and refuses to help him return to the palace unless he agrees to relocate Kuzcotopia. Despite their constant arguments, Pacha saves Kuzco from dangers in the jungle, and they eventually agree to work together. Along their journey, they narrowly escape various threats, including crocodile-infested waters. Meanwhile, Yzma and Kronk pursue Kuzco, leading to a comedic encounter at a diner where both groups unknowingly cross paths.
