The story begins with a gang of masked clowns robbing a bank where the mob has stored a significant amount of money. Initially, there are five clowns, each expecting a share of the loot. They argue that the sixth member, known as “The Joker,” who planned the heist but didn’t participate, doesn’t deserve a cut. As the robbery unfolds, the clowns turn on each other, killing one another to increase their share. Chaos ensues when a school bus crashes into the bank, killing another clown. The mob bank manager, who tried to fight back with a shotgun but was shot, warns the remaining clown that he has no idea who he’s dealing with.

The clown kneels and tells the banker, “I believe whatever doesn’t kill you simply makes you… stranger.” He then removes his mask, revealing himself as The Joker. The Joker places a grenade in the banker’s mouth and boards the bus, leaving a cord attached to the pin. As the bus drives away with the stolen money, the pin is pulled, but the grenade turns out to be a harmless gas device. The Joker blends into a line of school buses leaving the scene as the police arrive.

The scene shifts to Gotham at night, where criminals are too afraid to act under the watchful batsignal projected onto the clouds. Lieutenant James Gordon is seen manning the batsignal, waiting for Batman, with Detective Anna Ramirez by his side. When Ramirez asks if Batman is coming, Gordon explains that it’s fine if he isn’t, as he hopes Batman is occupied elsewhere. Gordon also inquires about Ramirez’s mother, who is in the hospital.

Meanwhile, in a parking garage, the Scarecrow, who escaped from Arkham Asylum, is negotiating with members of the Russian mob, led by The Chechen, over the sale of his fear-inducing drugs. Their meeting is interrupted when citizens dressed as amateur Batmen begin shooting at the criminals.

The film is available in multiple audio options, including Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
