Description: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a 2008 film available in English and Hindi, with quality options of 1080p, 720p, and 480p.
In August 2005, as Hurricane Katrina approaches, an elderly Daisy Fuller lies on her deathbed in a New Orleans hospital. She shares a story with her daughter, Caroline, about a train station built in 1918 and a blind clockmaker, Mr. Gateau, who was hired to create a clock for it. When unveiled, the clock was seen running backward. Mr. Gateau explained he designed it this way as a memorial, so that the children lost in World War I, including his own son, could return home and live full lives. After this, Mr. Gateau disappeared. Daisy then asks Caroline to read from Benjamin Button’s diary.
On November 11, 1918, a boy is born with the appearance and ailments of an elderly man. After the baby’s mother, Caroline, dies during childbirth, his father, Thomas Button, abandons him on the porch of a nursing home. Queenie and Mr. “Tizzy” Weathers discover the baby, and Queenie decides to raise him as her own, naming him Benjamin.
In 1925, Benjamin learns to walk and begins using crutches instead of a wheelchair. On Thanksgiving in 1930, he meets seven-year-old Daisy, whose grandmother lives in the nursing home. They become close friends. Later, Benjamin accepts a job on a tugboat led by Captain Mike Clark. During this time, he encounters Thomas, who does not reveal he is Benjamin’s father. In the autumn of 1936, Benjamin leaves New Orleans for an extended work assignment with the tugboat crew. Meanwhile, Daisy is accepted into a dance company in New York City under choreographer George Balanchine.
In 1941, Benjamin is in Murmansk, where he begins an affair with Elizabeth Abbott, the wife of the British Trade Minister. That December, Japan attacks Pearl Harbor, drawing the United States into World War II. Mike volunteers the tugboat for the U.S. Navy, and the crew is assigned to salvage duties. During a patrol, they discover a sunken U.S. transport ship and the bodies of numerous American soldiers. A German U-boat surfaces.
