Description: Rachel Marron, a celebrated actress and music superstar, becomes the target of a dangerous stalker sending her death threats. After an explosive incident in her dressing room, her manager, Bill Devaney, hires Frank Farmer, a former Secret Service agent, to protect her. Initially reluctant, Frank takes the job but struggles with Rachel’s diva-like attitude and her lack of concern for her safety.
As Frank implements strict security measures, Rachel accuses him of being overly paranoid and finds his methods intrusive. Their relationship shifts when Frank saves her during a concert riot. Tensions rise with her existing bodyguard, Tony, leading to a heated confrontation. Despite maintaining professionalism, Frank and Rachel grow closer, eventually crossing a line that complicates his ability to protect her.
Hurt by Frank’s decision to end their relationship, Rachel begins to disregard his security protocols and even flirts with his former colleague to provoke jealousy. However, after receiving a threatening call from the stalker, Rachel realizes the gravity of the situation and fully trusts Frank.
Seeking safety, Frank, Rachel, her son Fletcher, her sister Nicki, and their driver retreat to a secluded lakeside cabin owned by Frank’s father. The situation escalates when Fletcher narrowly escapes an explosion on a motorboat. Later, a drunk Nicki confesses to Frank that she had hired a hitman out of jealousy, though the stalker’s threats predated her actions. Moments after her admission, the hitman breaks into the cabin and kills Nicki, leaving Rachel and her loved ones in even greater danger.
