Description: The Bob’s Burgers Movie, released in 2022, follows the Belcher family as they navigate a series of challenges during the summer. Bob and Linda Belcher face financial difficulties when their bank denies them a loan extension, giving them just one week to make their payment. Meanwhile, their children are dealing with their own struggles: Tina is anxious about asking Jimmy Pesto Jr. to be her summer boyfriend, Gene is focused on reviving his band, and Louise is mocked for her refusal to perform a playground stunt, fearing she’ll lose the hat she believes gives her courage.
The family’s troubles deepen when a sinkhole forms in front of their restaurant, Bob’s Burgers, due to a broken water main. Their landlord, Calvin Fischoeder, shows little interest in fixing it promptly. While exploring the sinkhole to prove her bravery, Louise discovers a skeleton, later identified as Cotton Candy Dan, a carnival worker who vanished six years ago. Calvin is arrested when his gun matches the bullet that killed Dan, but Louise believes he’s innocent. With Tina and Gene’s help, she sets out to uncover the truth, starting with one of Dan’s teeth she found.
Their investigation leads them to a community of carnival workers, where they learn Dan had a meeting with Calvin and his brother Felix on the night of his disappearance. Suspecting Felix framed Calvin, the children discover a novelty cufflink near Dan’s remains. Meanwhile, the Belchers’ friend Teddy builds a grill cart so they can sell food on the streets until the sinkhole is repaired. However, their efforts to avoid health inspectors lead to a clash with the carnival workers after unintentionally damaging Dan’s memorial.
The children track Felix to a secret clubhouse at Wonder Wharf, where Calvin arrives after posting bail. The brothers’ cousin and lawyer, Grover, also appears, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation as the Belcher family works to clear Calvin’s name and solve the mystery of Cotton Candy Dan’s death.
