Description: In *The Batman vs. Dracula* (2005), the Joker and the Penguin escape from Arkham Asylum, searching for stolen money hidden in a crypt at Gotham Cemetery. The Joker is caught by Batman and accidentally electrocuted when he falls into a river. Meanwhile, the Penguin cuts his hand while trying to open a coffin in the crypt, unaware that his blood awakens Dracula, who was transported from Transylvania to Gotham after his supposed death. Dracula spares the Penguin, turning a watchman into a vampire instead and hypnotizing the Penguin into serving him.
Batman encounters a vampire attack but dismisses it to host a party at Wayne Manor. Dracula arrives disguised as Dr. Alucard, claiming to study Batman’s legacy. Dracula targets Bruce Wayne but fails to bite him, instead turning a waiter into a vampire, alarming Alfred. Realizing Alucard is Dracula, Bruce deduces that the missing citizens, called “Lost Ones,” are being turned into vampires. Publicly blamed for the attacks due to eyewitness reports of a bat-like figure, Batman confronts Dracula at Gotham Cemetery but is pursued by a SWAT team, who fall victim to Dracula’s traps.
