Description: As a young girl, Jun Naruse was lively and talkative. One day, she witnessed her father leaving a love hotel with another woman. Unaware of the situation’s implications, she told her mother, which led to her parents’ divorce. Her father blamed her for the family’s breakdown, and while crying, Jun imagined a fairy egg cursing her by sealing her words to prevent her from hurting others again. This “curse” rendered her unable to speak, causing her physical pain whenever she attempted to communicate.
Years later, as a high school student, Jun’s homeroom teacher, Kazuki Jōshima, assigns her to the Charity Committee alongside classmates Takumi Sakagami, Natsuki Nitō, and Daiki Tasaki. When Jun tries to decline the position, she hears Takumi singing and is deeply moved. She shares her past with him through her phone and asks him to turn her story into a song. Through this, Jun discovers that while she cannot speak, singing bypasses the curse. Inspired by her experience, the class decides to create a musical for their school festival, presenting her story as a fairy tale.
During preparations, Daiki has a disagreement with his teammates, which Jun resolves by speaking up. This act causes her physical discomfort but strengthens her bond with the Charity Committee members. Natsuki misinterprets Takumi’s concern for Jun as romantic interest and decides to support their relationship, despite her own feelings for Takumi. Meanwhile, Jun begins to develop feelings for Takumi, while Daiki starts to fall for her. Confused by the rumors of Takumi and Natsuki’s past relationship, Daiki confronts Takumi, who clarifies that they were never romantically involved.
