Description: In the near future, animal cloning has become common, but human cloning is banned under the “Sixth Day” laws. Adam Gibson, a charter pilot, is hired by Michael Drucker, a billionaire and owner of Replacement Technologies, a cloning corporation, for a snowboarding trip. Drucker insists Adam undergo a standard drug test. When Adam’s wife tells him their daughter’s dog has died, he visits Drucker’s “RePet” cloning store. Meanwhile, Adam’s partner, Hank, pretends to be Adam and flies Drucker to the mountains, where both are killed by an assassin named Tripp.
Adam purchases a life-sized “SimPal” doll for his daughter and returns home, only to find a clone of himself with his family. Before he can act, Adam is kidnapped by Drucker’s security team, led by Marshall. He manages to escape, killing two agents, Talia and Wiley, and seeks help from the police, but they dismiss him as a mental patient.
Drucker, who appears alive, publicly denies any intention to repeal the Sixth Day laws. However, he and his lead scientist, Dr. Griffin Weir, have secretly perfected human cloning, reviving clones of Talia and Wiley. Adam escapes from the police station, kills Wiley again, and finds Hank still alive at his apartment. He takes Hank to his home, considering eliminating his own clone, but Marshall and Talia arrive, forcing Adam to pretend to be his clone to send them away.
Back at his apartment, Hank is killed once more by Tripp, whom Adam shoots in retaliation.
