John’s life is further complicated by his wife Nancy (Padmavati Rao), who is ill and confined to a wheelchair. Despite his personal struggles, John remains resolute in his mission. He frequently meets Father Martin Das (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a former police inspector who handled Angela’s case. Martin, burdened by guilt for his failure to solve the case, left his job to become a priest.
Eight years after Angela’s tragic death, a similar kidnapping occurs, this time involving a boy named Rony. The methods used in this crime mirror those of Angela’s abduction, prompting Inspector Sarita to re-examine the old case file. She seeks Father Martin’s assistance, and he provides partial support by offering clues. Together with John, Sarita begins to investigate the new kidnapping.
During the investigation, Rony’s grandfather, Manohar (Sabyasachi Chakraborty), is arrested while attempting to flee with the ransom money at a railway station. However, he claims to have acted under the directions of the real kidnapper. Meanwhile, John meticulously pieces together the identity of Angela’s kidnapper through his own efforts. In a shocking revelation, it is discovered that John orchestrated Rony’s kidnapping to exact revenge on Manohar, who he believes is responsible for Angela’s death.
Father Martin eventually uncovers John’s involvement and confronts him. John requests Martin to arrange a meeting with Manohar, leading to a tense and emotional confrontation. The film delves into themes of grief, justice, and redemption, making it a compelling watch.
