Description: “Talk to Her” (2002) is a film presented in Spanish, available in 720p and 480p resolutions. The narrative unfolds through flashbacks, revealing the intricate connections between two distinct relationships.
The story begins during a performance of *Café Müller*, a dance-theatre piece by Pina Bausch, where Benigno Martín and Marco Zuluaga briefly cross paths. Though strangers, Benigno observes Marco’s emotional reaction.
Marco, a journalist and travel writer, encounters Lydia González, a renowned matador, through a TV interview. Intrigued, he decides to write an article about her. Their initial meeting in a bar leads to a series of events where Lydia reveals her recent breakup with another matador, “el Niño de Valencia,” which has been widely covered in the media. When Marco admits his lack of knowledge about bullfighting and his role as a journalist, Lydia becomes upset and leaves abruptly.
Later, Marco assists Lydia when she discovers a snake in her home, an act that builds trust between them and eventually leads to a romantic relationship. During a wedding in Toledo, Marco is surprised to see Lydia, who had initially declined to attend. The wedding turns out to be that of Marco’s former fiancée, Ángela, who shares Lydia’s fear of snakes. Marco reflects on his deep emotional attachment to Ángela, which explains his tendency to cry over unresolved emotions.
However, Lydia’s life takes a tragic turn when she is critically injured during a bullfight, leaving her in a comatose state. The film explores the evolving dynamics between the characters as their lives become increasingly intertwined.
