Michael Jai White takes a backseat, allowing Gillian to dominate the screen. Meanwhile, Mickey Rourke, despite his limited screen time, captivates with a poignant dignity that’s hard to ignore.
Take Back aims to combine action and drama but falters in pacing and focus. While it showcases Gillian White’s talent, the film’s execution prevents it from reaching its full potential.
