Description: The film “Sweater” follows Tuku, a young woman whose parents are concerned about her lack of qualities and her inability to find a suitable marriage partner. In contrast, her sister is intelligent and talented, drawing attention from potential suitors. Tuku maintains a casual relationship with Pablo, a rock star who avoids commitment, while her rebellious sister engages in a one-sided relationship with a boy named Akash, who showers her with gifts despite her indifference.
When a family shows interest in Tuku, her future mother-in-law sets a condition: she must master knitting. Tuku moves to her aunt’s home to learn the skill, where she encounters Shamyo, a violinist battling cancer. His positive outlook deeply inspires Tuku, transforming her into a confident individual. Meanwhile, Akash declines a marriage proposal after realizing Tuku’s sister exploited their relationship. Upon returning home, Tuku rejects her arranged marriage and confronts Pablo, ending their relationship.
