**Storyline:**
*Swatta* (Bengali: সত্তা, meaning “Entity”) is a 2017 Bangladeshi romantic-drama film directed by Hashibur Reza Kallol and produced by Sohani Hossain under Taranga Entertainment. The screenplay and dialogues were written by Ferdous Hassan, while the story was penned by Sohani Hossain. The movie features renowned Bangladeshi actors Shakib Khan and Paoli Dam in the lead roles, supported by Kabila, Nasrin, Rina Khan, Don, and others. The film’s soundtrack was composed by Bappa Mazumder.
Principal photography started on November 16, 2014, and concluded on November 20, 2016. The first teaser was unveiled on April 14, 2016, and the film was released on April 7, 2017. It received widespread acclaim and won several awards, including five National Film Awards, six Bachsas Awards, and two Meril-Prothom Alo Awards.
