Description: The story of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” unfolds chronologically between the events of the Season 1 episode “The Hidden Enemy” and the Season 3 episode “Clone Cadets” from the television series. Set during the first year of the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his former mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, lead a small group of Republic Clone troopers in a battle against Count Dooku’s Separatist droid army on the planet Christophsis. While awaiting reinforcements, they are joined by a young Jedi Padawan named Ahsoka Tano, who claims she has been assigned by Grandmaster Yoda to serve as Anakin’s apprentice. Initially reluctant, Anakin eventually accepts Ahsoka, and together they successfully deactivate the Separatists’ energy field, securing a Republic victory and earning Anakin’s respect.
Following the battle, Yoda informs the Jedi that Jabba the Hutt’s son, Rotta, has been kidnapped. This scheme is orchestrated by Darth Sidious, who aims to frame the Jedi for the kidnapping to secure Jabba’s alliance with the Separatists and sow distrust between the Hutts and the Jedi. Anakin and Ahsoka are tasked with rescuing Rotta, while Obi-Wan travels to Tatooine to negotiate a treaty with Jabba. Anakin and Ahsoka track Rotta to the planet Teth, where they face an ambush by Separatist forces led by Asajj Ventress, a Dark Jedi and Count Dooku’s assassin. After escaping the trap with R2-D2, they hijack a derelict transport and head to Tatooine. Obi-Wan, alerted by Anakin, arrives on Teth and defeats Ventress in a lightsaber duel. Although she escapes, her mission ultimately fails.
Meanwhile, Senator Padmé Amidala, Anakin’s secret wife, becomes concerned for his safety and contacts Jabba’s uncle, Ziro, on Coruscant. However, Ziro refuses to cooperate, believing the Jedi are responsible for the situation.
