**Storyline:**
A decade after the events of the first film, Doctor Arthur Neuman gives a tour of the Norse mythology exhibit at Edge City’s museum. He explains that Loki, the God of Mischief, created a mask to spread chaos on Earth, granting its wearer his powers. When Neuman mentions Loki’s punishment by Odin, a stranger reveals himself as Loki, enraged. After discovering the mask in the museum is a replica, Loki removes Neuman’s face and places it in the display case, then confronts the authorities before leaving in anger.
Meanwhile, the real mask, discarded by Stanley Ipkiss and Tina Carlyle, ends up in Fringe City. It is found by Otis, a dog owned by Tim Avery, an aspiring animator who struggles with the idea of parenthood alongside his wife, Tonya. On a tropical island, Loki is confronted by Odin, who demands he retrieve the mask to prevent further chaos. Loki pleads for help, but Odin insists he must take responsibility for his actions.
Later, Tim wears the mask to a Halloween party at his animation studio, transforming into a version of the iconic “Mask” persona. Using his new powers, he turns the dull party into a lively event with a performance inspired by “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” The success impresses his boss, Daniel Moss, who is inspired to create a new cartoon, leading to Tim’s promotion the next day.
