Description: In “Son of Batman” (2014), Ra’s al Ghul, leader of the League of Assassins, prepares his grandson, Damian Wayne, to take his place. Damian is the son of Talia al Ghul and Batman. The League is attacked by assassins led by Slade Wilson, Ra’s former chosen successor. Slade fatally injures Ra’s, preventing him from healing in the Lazarus Pit. Following this, Talia brings Damian to Gotham City to live with his father, Batman, while she and the League confront Slade. Damian, rebellious and independent, refuses to obey his father’s orders and seeks revenge on Slade. After a confrontation with Nightwing and Batman, Damian is given the role of Robin to learn discipline. Slade, now known as Deathstroke, captures Talia and scientist Dr. Kirk Langstrom. Discovering Deathstroke’s plans to create superhuman assassins, Batman and Damian work together to stop him, rescue Langstrom’s family, and save Talia.
