Description: Set in the 1990s, “**Ghund Kadh Le Ni Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya**” tells the story of Raje and Rupi, two individuals deeply in love and inseparable. Raje dreams of making Rupi his wife, while Rupi eagerly anticipates joining his village as her new home. However, when a marriage proposal arrives for Rupi from Raje’s village, the groom turns out not to be Raje but his cousin, Jass. Heartbroken, Raje initially drowns his sorrows in alcohol and melancholic songs. But after witnessing Rupi moving forward, he embarks on a mission of revenge. Determined to outdo her, Raje vows to marry a girl from Rupi’s village. This decision sparks a relentless rivalry between the former lovers, who once valued their love above all else but are now unwilling to concede defeat to each other.
Sargun Mehta and Gurnam Bhullar, portraying Rupi and Raje respectively, once again showcase their exceptional on-screen chemistry. Their portrayal of pure and innocent love feels as sweet as honey, painting a picture of an idyllic romance often found in novels. However, their journey is not without challenges, the primary one being the need to secure their parents’ approval for their union. While Raje is confident he can sway his parents, Rupi remains uncertain. Although Raje succeeds in his efforts, fate intervenes, turning their lives upside down. This leads to a series of quarrels and conflicts, which ironically become the movie’s standout feature. While viewers initially root for the couple, their ensuing battles provide unexpected entertainment. “**Ghund Kadh Le Ni Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya**” is a tale of love, rivalry, and the complexities of relationships.
