Bajirao Singham, now a Deputy Commissioner of Police, is transferred to Mumbai, where he discovers the mysterious death of his team member, Mahesh Jadhav, inside an ambulance filled with bags of money. Determined to uncover the truth, Singham crosses paths with a powerful and deceitful religious leader, Babaji (Satyaraj Chandar), who is deeply connected to corrupt politicians, including the ruling party’s leader, Guruji (Anupam Kher), and his secretary, Prakash Rao (Zakir Hussain).
When Guruji is murdered by Babaji’s men for opposing Rao’s schemes, Singham vows revenge. To protect his family, he pretends to resign and returns to his hometown, Shivgarh, with his childhood friend, Avni Kamat. During their stay, Singham and Avni grow closer, but it’s soon revealed that Singham’s resignation was a ruse as he secretly gathers evidence against Babaji.
Upon returning to Mumbai, Babaji begins threatening Singham’s family, while Rao targets Guruji’s allies, including Avni’s brother, Kishore. Singham successfully rescues everyone, but the case takes a turn when Babaji’s henchman, Altaf Khan, awakens from a coma and testifies against him. Despite arresting Babaji and Rao, a violent attack by their supporters outside the court results in the death of witnesses, allowing the duo to go free.
In a final showdown, Singham and his team, joined by police from across Mumbai, confront Babaji and Rao. In a dramatic and humorous sequence, Singham’s team subdues the criminals, forcing them to confess their crimes. Their confessions are secretly filmed and broadcast live, exposing their corruption to the nation.
