**Storyline:**
Inspector Rakesh Kadam, an honest police officer, tragically takes his own life after being falsely accused of corruption by Jaikant Shikre, a powerful crime boss, businessman, and politician in Goa. Jaikant is involved in illegal activities such as kidnapping, extortion, and smuggling. Rakesh’s wife, Megha, vows to seek justice for her husband, declaring that God will punish Jaikant for his actions.
The story then shifts to Shivgarh, a small village near the Goa-Maharashtra border. Bajirao Singham, an upright police officer similar to Rakesh, oversees the Shivgarh police station. Known for resolving disputes informally and without formal charges, he earns the admiration and respect of the villagers. Gautam “Gotya” Bhosle, an industrialist and friend of Bajirao’s father, Manikrao “Manya” Singham, visits Shivgarh with his wife and daughter, Kavya. Over time, Singham and Kavya develop feelings for each other. Their relationship begins with comical misunderstandings but blossoms as Kavya comes to appreciate Singham’s honesty and simplicity.
Trouble arises when Jaikant, released on conditional bail for a murder charge, is required to visit Shivgarh to sign his bail documents. Instead of appearing personally, he sends his associate, Vitthal Dalvi, to handle the formalities. This infuriates Singham, who demands Jaikant’s immediate presence within four hours. Jaikant eventually arrives in Shivgarh to confront Singham, but the local villagers, fiercely loyal to Singham, turn against Jaikant, damaging his convoy’s vehicles in a powerful display of public defiance.
