Description: Sinbad: The Magic Lamp and the Moving Islands is a 2016 anime film that continues the adventures of Sinbad and his crew. After encountering a severe storm while sailing on the ship Bahal, they spot an island and head there for repairs. Sinbad and Sana venture onto the island, where Sana has a vision of a magical lamp. Determined to uncover its secrets, they embark on a quest to find it.
This film is the second installment in a trilogy by Nippon Animation, following *Sinbad: The Flying Princess and the Secret Island*, which was released in 2015. Directed by Shinpei Miyashita, the movie features character designs by Yoshiharu Sato and a screenplay by Hiroyuki Kawasaki, inspired by *One Thousand and One Nights*. It premiered in Japanese theaters on January 16, 2016.
The story follows Sinbad and his crew as they search for Sana’s companions, who belong to a legendary sorcerer clan. While repairing their ship after the storm, Sana senses the presence of the Magic Lamp. As they explore the island in search of it, they must also confront a demon pursuing Sana. The adventure unfolds with mysteries surrounding the lamp and the fate of Sana’s comrades.
