**Storyline:**
Rose Da Silva and her husband Christopher are increasingly worried about their adopted daughter Sharon’s recurring sleepwalking episodes and nightmares, all centered around Silent Hill, a deserted town in West Virginia abandoned in the 1970s due to a coal seam fire. Despite Christopher’s objections, Rose decides to take Sharon to Silent Hill in hopes of uncovering the truth behind her daughter’s distress.
During the journey, Rose’s erratic behavior catches the attention of police officer Cybil Bennett. In an attempt to evade Cybil, Rose crashes her car after a mysterious girl appears in the road. When Rose regains consciousness, she finds herself in a fog-shrouded version of Silent Hill and discovers that Sharon is missing.
As Rose searches the town for her daughter, she encounters a girl who looks strikingly similar to Sharon. The town undergoes terrifying transformations, shifting into a nightmarish world filled with monstrous creatures, including the infamous Pyramid Head. Cybil eventually catches up to Rose, but both realize they are trapped in this eerie dimension, with all escape routes leading to an inexplicable cliff.
Rose perseveres through these horrors and gradually uncovers the tragic story of Alessa Gillespie, a young girl severely burned by the town’s fanatical religious cult, the Brethren. Alessa’s mother, Dahlia, now wanders the town as an outcast, burdened by guilt for her role in her daughter’s suffering. Cybil joins Rose as they navigate the dangers of this alternate reality, while in the real world, Christopher teams up with police officer Thomas Gucci to search for his family in the abandoned town.
Gucci, who once lived in Silent Hill and saved Alessa from the fire, urges Christopher to abandon his search and return home. The story weaves between despair, horror, and the unrelenting pursuit of truth in a town shrouded in darkness.
