Description: Danish, a mute man from Igatpuri, dreams of becoming a Bollywood actor and moves to Mumbai to pursue his ambition. However, his inability to speak becomes a major obstacle. While attempting to enter Film City, Danish is stopped by security guards but manages to meet Akshara Pandey, an assistant director. Impressed by his acting skills, she suggests him for a film role, but the director rejects him upon learning he cannot speak.
Determined to help him, Akshara takes Danish to a voice hospital, where doctors confirm his vocal cords are permanently paralyzed. Akshara’s father informs them about a technology in Finland called “Live Voice Transfer,” which involves implanting a chip in the larynx to enable speech using someone else’s voice. After undergoing the procedure, Danish and Akshara return to Mumbai in search of a voice provider. They find Amitabh Sinha, a drunkard and failed actor who was rejected due to his voice.
Danish approaches the director again, who agrees to cast him on the condition he changes his name. Danish chooses “Shamitabh,” combining his name with Amitabh’s, to acknowledge the man providing his voice. Danish becomes a successful actor, but Amitabh develops resentment, believing the success is solely due to his voice. This leads to a growing ego clash between the two.
During a speech in London, Danish treats Amitabh poorly, fueling the tension. Amitabh, intoxicated, is arrested after assaulting a police officer, and Danish bails him out. Back in Mumbai, Danish instructs Amitabh to issue an apology on his behalf, but Amitabh refuses, causing a public scandal. The two part ways, with Danish opting to play a mute character in his next film and Amitabh dubbing for another actor. Both films fail, highlighting their fractured partnership and the impact of their rivalry.
