The plot begins with two girls driving on a road when they are stopped by two policemen who attempt to assault them. One of the girls sends a voice message in a WhatsApp group describing their situation. Manimaran (Jiiva), who runs a local TV channel called Kokkarako TV, hears the message and rescues them. Manimaran’s actions frustrate the local MLA, who hires a goon named Vyasarpadi Malli (Varun) to eliminate him. Malli reaches Manimaran’s home but ends up helping Manimaran’s sister, Ilakkiya (Gayathri Krishnaa), who goes into labor. Malli takes her to the hospital and donates blood to save her.
When Manimaran arrives at the hospital, he learns that his sister is safe and has given birth to a son. Ilakkiya asks Manimaran to find her savior and thank him. Manimaran discovers it was Malli, the same man who was sent to kill him. Despite their conflict, Manimaran tries to reach out to Malli. He eventually finds Malli fatally wounded by his own henchmen, who were ordered by Ashok Mithran (Navdeep), a corrupt advocate seeking revenge. Manimaran saves Malli and admits him to Laksha Hospitals, while Mithran sends more goons after Malli, leading to a series of confrontations.
