Description: Shaggy Rogers, a young and lonely boy, befriends and adopts a talking stray Great Dane named Scooby-Doo. On Halloween night, Scooby and Shaggy meet three young detectives—Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, and Velma Dinkley—and venture into a haunted house. Inside, they encounter a ghost, who turns out to be a thief named Mr. Rigby in disguise. Inspired by the experience, they form Mystery Inc. to solve mysteries together.
Years later, after solving numerous cases, Mystery Inc. partners with entrepreneur Simon Cowell, who refuses to include Scooby and Shaggy in the business. Feeling left out, the duo departs. That night, they are attacked by robotic scorpions called the Rottens at the Takamoto Bowl. They are rescued by Dee Dee Skyes, along with their heroes Dynomutt and Blue Falcon (Brian). Dee Dee reveals that the Rottens are sent by the villain Dick Dastardly, who seeks Scooby for a plan tied to the mystical Cerberus skulls.
Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, and Velma learn of Dastardly’s scheme and investigate his motives. Scooby, Shaggy, Blue Falcon, Dynomutt, and Dee Dee uncover clues about Scooby’s significance during a confrontation at an abandoned Funland. Simultaneously, the rest of Mystery Inc. struggles without Scooby and Shaggy, reflecting on their past adventures. The story highlights themes of friendship, teamwork, and the value of each member in the group.
