Description: In *SAS: Red Notice*, a gripping action thriller based on Andy McNab’s novel, a group of mercenaries posing as terrorists seizes control of a train traveling through the Channel Tunnel connecting England and France. Streaming on Sky in the UK, the film follows ace SAS officer Tom Buckingham (played by Sam Heughan from *Outlander*), who coincidentally is on the train with his girlfriend Sophie (Hannah John-Kamen from *Ant-Man and the Wasp*), planning to propose.
The terrorists, led by Grace Lewis (Ruby Rose), belong to the Black Swans, a notorious family mercenary group that includes her father William (Tom Wilkinson) and brother Olly (Owain Yeoman). They were hired by British gas company Britgaz and the UK Prime Minister to carry out a brutal operation involving a Georgian village to secure a gas pipeline. However, when footage of their actions surfaces, the Black Swans are labeled terrorists, prompting a nationwide manhunt.
The plot is layered with political intrigue involving the Prime Minister (Ray Panthaki), Britgaz representative George Clements (Andy Serkis), and SAS Major Bisset (Noel Clarke). While the film takes its time to set the stage with backstory and complex subplots, the tension escalates as Tom Buckingham confronts the terrorists in the Channel Tunnel. Coordinating with his fellow SAS officers, Tom battles to rescue hostages and dismantle the threat.
For its intense midsection, *SAS: Red Notice* delivers thrilling action sequences and keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
