Description: In Cape Town, South Africa, rookie CIA officer Matt Weston is responsible for managing a CIA safe house, hoping to gain field experience. He contacts his mentor, David Barlow, about a potential transfer to Paris to be closer to his girlfriend, Ana, but is told he lacks the necessary qualifications. Meanwhile, ex-CIA operative Tobin Frost, now a criminal, obtains a data storage device from a rogue MI6 officer. After a deadly attack by mercenaries, Frost surrenders to the American consulate.
Frost is taken to Weston’s safe house for interrogation, but the mercenaries attack, leaving Weston and Frost on the run. Weston reaches out to his superiors, who instruct him to stay hidden. Frost warns Weston of a traitor within the CIA, sowing doubt and manipulation. As Weston tries to protect Ana and secure Frost, the situation spirals out of control, with Frost ultimately escaping during a diversion.
