Description: “Rush Hour 3” is a 2007 action-comedy film that follows the adventures of LAPD Detective James Carter and Hong Kong Police Force Chief Inspector Lee. Three years after the events of “Rush Hour 2,” Chinese Ambassador Solon Han, with Lee as his bodyguard, delivers a speech at the World Criminal Court in Los Angeles about combating the Triads. During his address, Han begins to reveal the location of Shy Shen, a key figure in the Chinese mob, but is suddenly shot by an assassin, causing chaos. Lee confronts the shooter but hesitates upon realizing it is his foster brother, Kenji, allowing him to escape. Carter arrives shortly after, having overheard the incident on police radio.
Despite the assassination attempt, Han survives, and Lee and Carter vow to find the culprit. At Han’s request, they head to a local Kung Fu studio to retrieve an envelope left by Han but discover it has been seized by the Triads. The duo returns to the hospital and thwarts another assassination attempt on Han by French-speaking Chinese assassins. With the help of Sister Agnes, a French-speaking nun, they interrogate one of the attackers. For her safety, they take Han’s daughter, Soo Yung, to the French Embassy, leaving her under the care of Ambassador Varden Reynard. However, Reynard and Soo Yung narrowly escape a car bomb, prompting Lee and Carter to travel to Paris for further investigation.
In Paris, Lee and Carter encounter Commissaire Revi, who is uncooperative. They then meet George, an anti-American taxi driver, who reluctantly takes them to a Triad hideout. During their investigation, Carter meets Geneviève, a stage performer, while Lee is deceived by Jasmine, a mob assassin posing as an informant. Carter rescues Lee from a near-fatal encounter, and the pair continues their mission to uncover the truth behind the Triads and protect those they care about.
