Description: Lola receives a desperate phone call from her boyfriend Manni, who is in a crisis. Manni, responsible for delivering 100,000 Deutschmarks, accidentally leaves the money bag on a subway train after panicking upon seeing ticket inspectors. He spots a homeless man examining the bag as the train departs. Manni has only 20 minutes to meet his boss Ronnie, who will kill him if the money isn’t delivered. In desperation, Manni plans to rob a nearby supermarket to recover the funds. Lola urges him to wait and decides to seek help from her father, a bank manager, hoping to resolve the situation.
When Lola arrives at the bank, she discovers her father is with his mistress, who reveals she’s pregnant. Their conversation turns into an argument, and her father discloses that he’s leaving Lola’s mother and that Lola is not his biological daughter. Distraught, Lola rushes to meet Manni but arrives too late. She witnesses him entering the supermarket with a gun. Together, they rob the store of 100,000 marks, but upon exiting, they’re surrounded by police. In a tense moment, Manni throws the money bag into the air, startling an officer who accidentally shoots and kills Lola.
The events reset from the point Lola leaves her apartment. This time, she trips over a man with a dog, injuring herself and arriving late to the bank. Her father’s mistress adds that he’s not the father of her unborn child. Enraged, Lola overhears the conversation, seizes a security guard’s gun, takes her father hostage, and robs the bank of 100,000 marks.
The story unfolds in a race against time, with Lola making critical decisions that drastically alter the outcome of her and Manni’s fate.
