**Storyline:**
High school student Zoe Hull faces emotional struggles following the death of her mother, Jennifer, which strains her relationship with her father, Todd. On her way to school, Zoe notices her classmate Chris Jelick planting a strange device in a field but dismisses it as a prank. At school, Zoe’s friend Lewis tries to ask her to prom, but the attempt fails, and Zoe leaves for the bathroom after a drink spills on her.
Meanwhile, several explosive devices are detonated across town, distracting emergency responders and blocking roads. A van crashes into the school cafeteria, carrying four shooters led by Tristan Voy. Tristan instructs his accomplices—Chris Jelick, Anna Jelick, and Kip Quade—to begin killing students. Lewis, who manages the school’s Facebook page, is forced to livestream the events. Zoe escapes through the bathroom ceiling and starts warning and helping other students flee.
Tristan calls the school’s front office to announce the shooting, but protocol requires confirmation. The principal and security guard are sent to investigate. Anna is sent to assess the damage but encounters Zoe, leading to a fight that results in Anna’s death. Meanwhile, a police officer arrives at Tristan’s home to discover he has murdered his mother. The media picks up the livestream, delighting Tristan, who begins removing students from their classrooms. Zoe confronts Kip, highlighting his senseless killings of innocent students.
