**Storyline:**
In a California desert, a group of people gathers to watch a “film.” Sheriff Chad explains that many events in cinema and life happen for “no reason” and that this film is a tribute to that concept. Chad occasionally participates in the story and sometimes comments on it. An accountant hands out binoculars to the audience and leaves on a bicycle. The audience peers through the binoculars, eagerly waiting for the “film” to begin. Throughout the movie, this group reappears to share their reactions to the unfolding events.
Meanwhile, in the desert, a tire named Robert inexplicably comes to life. After standing upright, Robert discovers he possesses psychokinetic powers and begins experimenting by causing animals and objects to explode. He notices a woman driving by and tries to use his powers on her but only manages to stall her car. A truck then runs over Robert, but he retaliates by killing the driver. The woman escapes, and Robert tracks her to a nearby motel, where he kills a maid who tries to remove him.
Sheriff Chad arrives to investigate the murders. The in-film audience, having gone without food for two days, is given a turkey by the accountant. However, the turkey is poisoned, causing severe pain and death among the audience. Chad realizes the film must end since the audience is dead, but the accountant reveals that one wheelchair-bound audience member survived by not eating the turkey.
