Description: In London, crime boss Lenny Cole dominates the expanding real estate market with the help of a corrupt councilor for official fixes and his right-hand man, Archy, for the illegal aspects. A wealthy Russian businessman, Uri Omovich, plans a rigged land deal, attracting the attention of London’s criminals. Among them are Uri’s deceitful accountant, Stella, and a gang known as “The Wild Bunch,” led by small-time crook “One-Two,” his partner “Mumbles,” and their driver, “Handsome Bob.”
Uri agrees to Lenny’s demand for €7 million to bribe the council and, as a gesture of trust, lends him his “lucky painting.” However, when Uri assigns Stella to transfer the funds, she betrays him by hiring the Wild Bunch to steal the money. Meanwhile, Lenny’s drug-addicted stepson, Johnny Quid, fakes his own death and steals the painting from Lenny’s office. Lenny and Archy then force Johnny’s former managers, Mickey and Roman, to track him down. In a parallel subplot, Handsome Bob forms a connection with Stella’s gay husband, a lawyer with insider knowledge about a long-hidden informant in their criminal network.
Uri once again entrusts Stella to discreetly divert the required payoff from his assets, despite his growing mistrust. When his associates are robbed by the Wild Bunch once more, his assistant Victor convinces him that Lenny is likely behind the thefts and is intentionally withholding Uri’s lucky painting. In response, Uri and Victor invite Lenny to a private golf game, where Victor assaults him with a golf club and breaks his leg as a warning to return the painting. Meanwhile, the painting ends up in the hands of some criminals who sell it to Cookie, who then gifts it to One-Two as a thank-you gesture after a romantic encounter with Stella.
