Description: The movie “Rocket Gang” (2022) begins with a scene featuring five main characters driving along a hilly road. They are seen taking pictures, with Amarbir at the wheel, Tania seated beside him, and Bunnu, Sahib, and Pia in the back. Amarbir drives recklessly, swerving past other cars. The scene then shifts to introduce the characters more clearly. Later that night, while Amarbir is in his father’s store, a man named Tony appears and hands him a poster for a new resort called “Wonder-Villa.” Tony offers Amarbir and his friends a free weekend stay at the resort in exchange for putting up the posters in the store. Amarbir shares the offer with his friends, who agree to take the trip.
Upon arrival at the resort, the group is greeted by five children who manage the place: Kiara, the manager; Montu, the security head and room service provider; Ganesh, the head chef; Saher, the receptionist; and Je Je, the entertainment head and room service assistant. The friends find it unusual that children are running the resort, but the kids explain that the resort belongs to their parents and they help out during vacations. After settling in, the adults attempt to scare the kids with ghost stories during dinner. Later, Amarbir and Sahib step outside to relieve themselves in the bushes.
Amarbir hears a faint lullaby, but Sahib does not. As rain begins to fall, Sahib heads back inside, while Amarbir stays behind for a moment and notices a dim light coming from the bushes. After he leaves, a pair of vehicle headlights is seen hidden among the bushes, accompanied by the eerie lullaby playing in the background. Inside the resort, a power outage occurs due to the storm. Kiara mentions that the previous guests left behind a game, but the children find it too complicated to play. When the adults discover that the game is actually a spirit board, they use it to further spook the kids.
