**Storyline:**
Dr. Vaseegaran creates a new humanoid android named Nila and introduces her to a group of college students. However, chaos ensues when all the mobile phones in the city suddenly begin to fly into the sky, causing widespread panic. A scientific council gathers to address the phenomenon, and Vaseegaran proposes reactivating the robot Chitti. His suggestion faces opposition from Dhinendra Bohra, a council member whose father was killed by Chitti years earlier.
As the crisis escalates, the flying cell phones form a deadly swarm, targeting individuals like phone retailer Jayanth Kumar, telecom company owner Manoj Lula, and Telecom Minister Vaira Moorthy. With the situation worsening, Home Minister S. Vijay Kumar authorizes Vaseegaran to revive Chitti, who had already begun preparations for reactivation.
The phone swarm transforms into a massive bird and wreaks havoc across the city, destroying phone towers and causing destruction. Chitti, now upgraded, confronts the bird and manages to destroy it with an explosion. The remaining phones regroup, and Chitti, low on battery, takes refuge in a space station’s antennas, where the bird is repelled by the station’s positive ion stream.
Chitti informs Vaseegaran that the phones are powered by a concentrated mass of negative charge with electromagnetic properties. Using this insight, Vaseegaran constructs a photon synthesizer to project positive charge and neutralize the bird’s power. In their final confrontation, the group successfully drains the bird’s energy, revealing it as the spirit of deceased ornithologist Pakshi Rajan.
Chitti attempts to reason with Pakshi, urging him not to harm the public, but Pakshi remains intent on punishing humanity for its ignorance.
