Description: Tom and Jerry: Robin Hood and His Merry Mouse, released in 2013, follows the adventurous tale of Robin Hood and his loyal companion, Jerry. Together, they aim to intercept a tax money convoy passing through Sherwood Forest. However, the convoy turns out to be a trap set by the cunning Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John’s trusted aide, who is assisted by his henchcat, Tom. Thanks to Jerry’s timely warning, Robin gathers his Merry Men, successfully ambushing the convoy and seizing the gold. Realizing that Jerry serves as Robin’s messenger, the Sheriff orders Tom to capture the mouse in hopes of uncovering the traitor within the castle.
That night, Robin asks Jerry to deliver a love poem to Maid Marian, his secret ally and love interest. Marian, however, is accompanied by Tom, who spots Jerry and attempts to catch him but fails. The Sheriff then devises a plan to lure Robin to a staged archery tournament, offering a kiss from Marian as an incentive. Unable to resist, Robin decides to participate against his men’s advice. During the tournament, Jerry’s unintended assistance helps Robin win, but he is unmasked by the Sheriff, leading to his capture along with his Merry Men.
Jerry, now the only one left free, sneaks into the castle to rescue his companions. He encounters Tom, and their scuffle in Marian’s room alerts the Sheriff, who discovers Marian’s role as Robin’s informant and arrests her. Although Tom finally captures Jerry, he is dismissed by Prince John and the Sheriff, who are dismayed to learn that King Richard, the rightful ruler, is returning.
