**Storyline:**
Robin of Loxley, a nobleman from Nottingham, enjoys a peaceful life with his beloved Marian until he is forced by the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham to join the Third Crusade against the Saracens. After four years of war, Robin becomes disillusioned when he fails to stop his commander, Guy of Gisbourne, from executing unarmed prisoners, including a young boy. This act leads Gisbourne to accuse Robin of treason and send him back to England.
Upon returning, Robin discovers that the Sheriff declared him dead two years earlier to seize his lands and wealth, using the resources to fund the ongoing war under the orders of a corrupt Cardinal. The people of Nottingham have been driven out of the city and forced into a coal mining town. Robin encounters his old friend Friar Tuck and learns that Marian is now involved with Will Tillman, a leader of the oppressed commoners planning to rebel against the government.
While investigating the struggling community, Robin meets Yahya, the father of the boy he tried to save during the war. Introducing himself as “John,” Yahya proposes a partnership to end the conflict by reclaiming the wealth stolen from the people. Marian finds out Robin is alive but is advised by John to keep his plans secret for her own safety.
Determined to fight back, Robin trains rigorously in his decaying manor, mastering archery and combat. He begins stealing the Sheriff’s ill-gotten riches, earning the nickname “The Hood.” To conceal his actions, Robin pretends to be a carefree supporter of the Sheriff’s regime while secretly working to restore justice and freedom to Nottingham.
