**Storyline**:
Enoch, a young man recently out of school, forms an unusual friendship with the ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot. For reasons left unexplained, he begins attending the funerals of strangers uninvited. During one such event, he meets Annabel, a woman who works with children battling cancer. The two develop a bond and start spending time together.
Later, Annabel reveals she has cancer herself and only three months left to live. Enoch seems to accept this news calmly, possibly due to his own experiences with near-death encounters. As their relationship deepens into romance, Enoch’s apparent tranquility begins to unravel when faced with the reality of losing Annabel.
At Annabel’s memorial, Enoch steps forward to speak, but memories of their shared happiness help him find peace with his grief.
