**Storyline:**
Eight men gather for breakfast at a Los Angeles diner before executing a diamond heist. The group, led by Joe Cabot and his son Nice Guy Eddie, consists of criminals who use aliases: Mr. Brown, White, Blonde, Blue, Orange, and Pink. After debating the meaning of Madonna’s song “Like a Virgin” and clashing over Mr. Pink’s refusal to tip, they leave the diner to carry out the robbery.
Following the heist, Mr. White escapes with Mr. Orange, who has been shot in the stomach during a carjacking and is bleeding heavily. They meet Mr. Pink at one of Joe’s warehouses, where Pink suspects the heist was a setup, as the police were waiting for them. White informs Pink that Mr. Brown is dead, Mr. Blue and Mr. Blonde are missing, and Blonde killed several innocent people during the robbery. White is furious that Joe would hire someone as unstable as Blonde. Pink reveals he’s hidden the diamonds nearby, but tensions rise as he and White argue about getting medical help for Orange, nearly leading to a shootout. The confrontation is interrupted when Blonde arrives with a kidnapped policeman, Marvin Nash.
Earlier, Blonde meets with Joe and Eddie after completing a four-year prison sentence. In recognition of his loyalty—he never revealed Joe’s name to authorities—they offer him a no-show job. However, Blonde insists on returning to “real work,” and they enlist him for the heist.
Back in the present, White and Pink interrogate Nash for information. Eddie arrives and orders them to retrieve the hidden diamonds and dispose of the getaway vehicles, leaving Blonde in charge of Nash and Orange. Blonde, while dancing to Stealers Wheel’s “Stuck in the Middle with You,” brutally tortures Nash and cuts off his ear with a straight razor.
