Description: “Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs” is a 2019 animated film set on Fairy Tale Island. The story follows the Fearless Seven (F7), a group of heroic princes—Merlin, Arthur, Jack, Hans, and triplets Pino, Noki, and Kio—who rescue a Fairy Princess from a dragon. However, upon seeing her green face, they mistake her for a witch and attack. In response, she curses them to transform into green dwarves whenever looked upon. The curse can only be broken by a kiss from “the most beautiful woman in the world,” which they believe is impossible.
Seven years later, Princess Snow White, the kind and strong yet overweight daughter of King White, embarks on a journey to find her missing father. She returns to her parents’ castle, now ruled by her stepmother, Queen Regina. Discovering a message from her father, Snow White learns to seek out the seven dwarves and avoid apples. She encounters a pair of magical red shoes growing on a tree, which grant eternal life and beauty. Upon wearing them, Snow transforms into a slender, beautiful woman. Queen Regina attacks her, unaware of her true identity, but Snow escapes on a broomstick and crashes at the dwarves’ house. The dwarves initially prepare to attack, mistaking her for the Fairy Princess, but welcome her upon seeing her beauty. Shocked by her transformed appearance, Snow renames herself “Red Shoes.” The dwarves, smitten by her beauty, vie for her affection, hoping she will break their curse.
Meanwhile, Queen Regina hires Prince Average from a neighboring kingdom to capture Red Shoes. Average and his soldiers attempt to kidnap her, but Merlin saves her. Over time, Red Shoes and Merlin grow closer. Regina gives Average and his men cursed apples, turning them into monstrous wooden bears. In a secluded forest, Red Shoes tries to reveal her true self to Merlin but ends up confessing her feelings for him, and they share a kiss.
The film blends adventure, romance, and magic, offering a unique twist on classic fairy tales.
