**Storyline:**
Reporter Ángela Vidal and her cameraman Pablo are documenting the night shift at a fire station in Barcelona for the series *While You’re Sleeping*. During their recording, the team responds to a call about an elderly woman, Mrs. Izquierdo, who is trapped and screaming in her apartment. Accompanied by firefighters Álex and Manu, they arrive at the building, where two police officers are already present. As they approach, the elderly woman becomes violent and attacks one of the officers, biting his neck. While evacuating the injured officer, the group discovers that the building has been sealed off by the police and military, trapping everyone inside.
Panic ensues as Álex, who stayed upstairs with the old woman, is critically injured after being thrown over the staircase railing. Mrs. Izquierdo kills a young girl, forcing officer Sergio to shoot her. Ángela and Pablo interview the residents, including a sick little girl named Jennifer, whose mother, Mari Carmen, claims Jennifer has tonsillitis. She also mentions that their dog, Max, is at the vet due to illness.
A health inspector in a hazmat suit arrives to treat the injured but soon realizes the infected individuals exhibit extreme aggression. The inspector explains that the virus, similar to rabies, originated from a dog in the building—likely Max. As the infection spreads, the building descends into chaos, with more residents being bitten and turned.
