Description: Prem, a quick-witted young man, helps his friend Khushi elope with her lover Raju, which enrages her father Abhinav and the Kapoor family. To ease tensions, Prem’s family arranges his marriage to Pooja. Meanwhile, Sanjana, who has just fled her own wedding, overhears Prem discussing his plans to abandon Pooja. Since the Kapoors have never met Pooja, Sanjana pretends to be her and quickly wins their hearts. However, her uncles, Amar and Suraj, are determined to find a groom for her. When Aryan, Suraj’s son, falls into a coma due to Prem’s involvement, Prem discovers Sanjana’s true identity, but the two fall in love.
Suraj takes Sanjana away, but the Kapoors, unfazed by the truth, still wish for her to marry Prem. Determined to unite with her, Prem poses as the nephew of Balli, a chartered accountant working for Amar and Suraj. Through a clever ruse, the Kapoors convince the Chaudharys to allow Sanjana to marry Prem. When Aryan recovers, he exposes Prem’s true identity. However, Prem reveals that Sanjana’s late mother, Geeta, had wished for their union. Realizing their mistake, Amar and Suraj forgive Prem, and he finally marries Sanjana.
“Ready,” a 2011 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee, is a remake of the 2008 Telugu film of the same name.
