Description: Ravanasura is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language psychological action thriller film directed by Sudheer Varma, with a script by Srikanth Vissa. It is an official adaptation of the 2019 Bengali thriller Vinci Da. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Ravi Teja, Jayaram, Sushanth, Murali Sharma, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar, and Pujita Ponnada. Alongside his role as the lead actor, Ravi Teja co-produced the film under RT Team Works in collaboration with Abhishek Pictures.
The story revolves around Ravindra, a junior lawyer working under his ex-girlfriend, Kanaka Mahalakshmi. He encounters Harika Talwar, the R&D head of Syncox Pharma, who seeks his help to prove her father Vijay Talwar’s innocence in a murder case. However, the plot takes a dark turn when several individuals, including DIG Narasimha Murthy, are brutally murdered. ACP Hanumanth Rao leads the investigation and discovers that Ravindra is the mastermind behind these crimes and Vijay Talwar’s imprisonment.
Ravindra blackmails Saketh, a makeup artist, into creating prosthetic faces by kidnapping his girlfriend, Jaanu. Disguising himself as Kanaka’s husband, Sekhar, Ravindra kills Harika, leading to Sekhar’s arrest. As the plot unfolds, Saketh, Jaanu, and Hanumanth Rao confront Ravindra, uncovering his true motives. Ravindra reveals that his father had suffered due to unethical human trials conducted by Syncox Pharma, which had ties to the medical mafia. Determined to seek justice for his father and Dr. Shanti, who exposed these crimes, Ravindra targets those responsible.
With Saketh’s assistance, Ravindra continues his mission, ultimately killing Home Minister Mudi Reddy at a political event and framing Mudi’s henchmen. After closing the case, Ravindra marries his girlfriend, Keerthana, and begins a new life.
