Aadhi, once a getaway driver for Damodar, now works as a mechanic in his uncle Bhaskaran’s garage. Bhaskaran’s son, Aju, is infatuated with his classmate Deepika, who has a troubled relationship with her mother, Seema. Deepika’s father, Rajan, is a wealthy but unfaithful man who neglects his family. Seema’s ex-boyfriend, Ahmed, an investigation officer, is aware of her hardships. Damodar tries to persuade Aadhi to return to his service and later involves Aju in smuggling a new drug called Redex. Aadhi intervenes to save Aju from the police. Deepika, who has feelings for Aadhi, leaves home and confronts him, eventually obtaining Redex from him. Tragically, she overdoses and dies, leaving Aadhi guilt-ridden. Devastated by her daughter’s death and Rajan’s infidelity, Seema leaves her husband.
