**Storyline:**
During the political unrest of the Saffron Revolution in Burma, Major Pa Tee Tint, a ruthless officer of the SPDC, leads Burmese junta forces in terrorizing small villages. His soldiers brutally massacre innocent people, forcibly recruit teenage boys into the army, and abduct women to be used as sex slaves. Meanwhile, two decades after the events in Afghanistan, Vietnam War veteran John Rambo lives a quiet life in Thailand, earning a modest income as a snake catcher and boat operator.
Dr. Michael Burnett, a missionary from Colorado, hires Rambo to transport his group up the Salween River into Burma on a humanitarian mission to provide medical aid to the Karen people. Initially hesitant, Rambo agrees after being persuaded by Sarah Miller, Michael’s fiancée.
During the journey, pirates demand Sarah in exchange for passage, forcing Rambo to eliminate them. Disturbed by his actions, Michael sends Rambo back, claiming they no longer need his help. However, when the missionaries reach the village, they are met with tragedy as Major Tint’s army massacres the villagers and kidnaps the missionaries.
The pastor of the missionaries’ church travels to Thailand and enlists Rambo’s help to guide a team of mercenaries on a rescue mission. Though the team’s leader, former SAS soldier Lewis, initially refuses Rambo’s assistance, they later witness the horrors of Tint’s army as they prepare to execute more innocents.
