Storyline:
Jenny Nayar, an employee at Barron Industries, a UK-based company, introduces groundbreaking technology that enables digital objects to cross into the real world through wireless transmissions from multiple devices. Shekhar Subramanium, another employee, is tasked with developing an innovative video game as a final chance to prove his skills. Inspired by his son Prateek’s idea, Shekhar creates a game where the antagonist is more powerful than the protagonist, hoping to impress his skeptical son and fulfill his wife Sonia’s wishes.
Shekhar’s colleague Akashi contributes by designing the characters’ movements, Jenny handles the programming, and Shekhar lends his face to the protagonist, G.One. The antagonist, Ra.One, remains faceless and possesses significantly greater powers than G.One. The game features three levels, with a unique gun holding a single bullet required to defeat the antagonist in the final stage.
During development, Akashi notices technical glitches but overlooks them. Upon its release, the game is widely acclaimed, and Prateek eagerly starts playing under the alias “Lucifer.” However, Akashi interrupts him during the second level, preventing Ra.One from completing his turn. Frustrated, Ra.One becomes determined to eliminate Lucifer.
When the mainframe fails to shut down, Akashi contacts Shekhar, who identifies a critical issue. Using the new technology, Ra.One escapes the digital realm into the real world, embarking on a mission to find Lucifer. Ra.One confronts Akashi, demanding Lucifer’s whereabouts. When Akashi refuses to cooperate, Ra.One brutally murders him, leaving Shekhar horrified.
