**Storyline:**
The story begins in an Indian prison where a group of male inmates tries to catch a mouse, turning it into a betting game. Sanju (Aadar Jain), an under-trial prisoner, succeeds in catching the mouse and collects his winnings. Meanwhile, in the female ward, Bindu (Anya Singh) earns money illegally by offering eyebrow trimming and manicure services to fellow inmates. When a senior prisoner refuses to pay, Bindu steals the money and is chased and beaten by the others.
The jailer, SP Dhulia (Sachin Pilgaonkar), announces a unique initiative for Independence Day: the formation of a joint male-female musical band composed of under-trial prisoners to perform at the Independence Day event. He promises that participation will earn them grace points, which could help reduce their sentences. Auditions are held, and Sanju, Bindu, and others—Maskeen Singh, Ogu, Rufi, Tatyana, and Sange—are selected for the band.
The group quickly bonds and decides to work hard to clear their charges. They share their stories: Sanju was falsely accused of assault after giving a woman a ride on a rainy night; Bindu was framed by her brother-in-law for allegedly kidnapping her niece, when he was actually abusing his family. Rufi reveals that his stolen car was used in a bomb blast, resulting in his arrest as a suspected terrorist. Ogu was imprisoned for attempting to procure drugs in Goa.
Together, they focus on their musical performance, hoping for freedom and justice.
