**Storyline:**
Hitmen Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega arrive at an apartment to retrieve a briefcase for their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace. The briefcase is taken from a business partner, Brett. After Vincent inspects the contents, Jules shoots one of Brett’s associates and recites a biblical passage. Together, they kill Brett for attempting to betray Marsellus. They deliver the briefcase to Marsellus, but before leaving, they wait as he bribes boxer Butch Coolidge to throw his upcoming match.
The following day, Vincent buys heroin from his dealer, Lance. After using the drugs, he goes to meet Marsellus’s wife, Mia, who he has agreed to escort while Marsellus is away. They dine at Jack Rabbit Slim’s, a 1950s-themed restaurant, and join a twist contest. Later, back at home, Mia accidentally snorts Vincent’s heroin, mistaking it for cocaine, and overdoses. Vincent rushes her to Lance’s house, where they revive her with an adrenaline injection. Vincent takes Mia home, and both agree never to reveal the incident to Marsellus.
Meanwhile, Butch decides to betray Marsellus by betting on himself and winning the fight, accidentally killing his opponent. Aware that Marsellus will seek revenge, Butch plans to escape with his girlfriend, Fabienne. However, he realizes she forgot to pack his treasured family heirloom, a gold watch. Returning to his apartment to retrieve it, Butch finds Vincent there. After a brief confrontation, Butch shoots and kills Vincent. Later, Marsellus spots Butch at a traffic light. Butch rams his car into Marsellus, leaving both injured. Marsellus regains consciousness and chases Butch into a pawnshop.
