Description: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) – Storyline
Dastan, a street orphan in Persia, is adopted by King Sharaman after demonstrating bravery. Fifteen years later, Nizam, the king’s brother, informs Dastan and the king’s biological sons, Tus and Garsiv, that the holy city of Alamut is producing weapons for Persia’s enemies. Tus orders the Persian army to attack Alamut, during which Dastan infiltrates the city, defeats a royal guard, and seizes a sacred dagger.
Despite the fall of Alamut, Princess Tamina denies the existence of any weapon forges. To unite their nations, Tus proposes marriage to Tamina, who agrees only after noticing the dagger in Dastan’s possession. At a celebratory banquet, Dastan presents his father with a robe that unbeknownst to him is poisoned, leading to Sharaman’s death. Accused of the murder, Dastan flees with Tamina while Tus becomes king and places a bounty on Dastan’s head.
While in hiding, Tamina attempts to kill Dastan and retrieve the dagger, but during the struggle, Dastan discovers its power to rewind time. Realizing Tus invaded Alamut for the dagger, Dastan decides to confront him at the king’s funeral in Avrat. Along the way, they are captured by merchant-bandits led by Sheik Amar but manage to escape. In Avrat, Dastan tries to prove his innocence to Nizam but discovers Nizam orchestrated the king’s murder. After a confrontation with Garsiv, Dastan narrowly escapes and learns Nizam has sent the Hassansins, a group of elite assassins, to eliminate him and recover the dagger.
