Description: In 1997, Los Angeles is gripped by both a scorching heat wave and a violent turf war between heavily armed Colombian and Jamaican drug cartels. Lieutenant Michael R. Harrigan, while attempting to rescue two wounded officers during a shootout between the police and the cartels, encounters a Predator observing the chaos. The Predator later attacks the Colombians, leaving Harrigan and his team to investigate the aftermath. Despite briefly spotting the camouflaged creature, Harrigan dismisses it as a hallucination caused by the heat and his fear of heights.
Harrigan is reprimanded for disobeying orders and introduced to Special Agent Peter Keyes, who is leading a task force investigating the cartels. Meanwhile, the Predator continues its rampage, slaughtering Jamaicans who had killed a Colombian drug lord. Harrigan’s team discovers the brutal aftermath, with bodies skinned and suspended, prompting them to connect it to the earlier massacre. When one of Harrigan’s detectives, Danny, is killed by the Predator while investigating, Harrigan vows revenge.
A forensic analysis of a weapon left by the Predator reveals it is made of an unknown element. Seeking answers, Harrigan consults Jamaican drug lord King Willie, who warns him of a supernatural killer and advises him to prepare for battle. Shortly after, the Predator kills King Willie, taking his head as a trophy. Harrigan’s pursuit leads him to a slaughterhouse and eventually to a warehouse district, where the Predator begins hunting his team. During this chaos, the Predator attacks Harrigan’s subordinates in a subway, escalating the deadly confrontation.
