Description: In the underground Diamond Domain, home to many Carbink, the Mythical Pokémon Diancie reigns as ruler. The Heart Diamond, which sustains the land, is crumbling, and Diancie lacks the strength to create a new one. While seeking assistance from the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas, Diancie crosses paths with thieves aiming to exploit its diamond-producing abilities. In the process, the thieves awaken the Legendary Pokémon Yveltal from its dormant cocoon. Ash and his friends join forces with Diancie to uncover its true power, halt Yveltal’s destructive rampage, and save the Diamond Domain from ruin.
The story also delves into the Great Destruction that once devastated the Kalos region, turning it into a lifeless wasteland. Yveltal, known as the Destruction Pokémon, is believed to be the cause of this catastrophic event. After annihilating all life in the region, Yveltal transformed into the Cocoon of Destruction, where it remains in a deep slumber. In contrast, Xerneas, the Life Pokémon, possesses the power to counteract Yveltal’s devastation. Xerneas restored life to both humans and Pokémon in Kalos, bringing balance back to the region.
The Diamond Domain, ruled by Diancie, relies on the Heart Diamond created by the Pokémon itself. Many unevolved Carbink inhabit this domain. However, as time passes, Diancie’s power wanes, and the Heart Diamond’s energy diminishes. Determined to find a solution, Diancie sets out to locate a source of energy to revitalize the Heart Diamond. Along the way, it encounters Ash and his companions, who agree to help. Together, they embark on a journey to seek Xerneas, the giver of life and energy, in hopes of saving the Diamond Domain. This adventure unfolds in “Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.”
