**Plot Summary:**
Two years after their last competition, the Bellas, now Barden University graduates, struggle with their unsatisfying jobs. Relationships have also taken a hit—Beca and Jesse broke up between the second and third films, and Amy and Bumper’s romance didn’t last long either. When Emily, the current leader of the Barden Bellas, invites the group to an event, they eagerly attend, only to discover it’s merely to watch the new Bellas perform, not to sing together. Disappointed, the Bellas reunite at a bar and express how much they miss their old bond. Aubrey convinces them to join a USO tour, hoping her father will notice them.
Emily steps in for Stacie, who is eight months pregnant. The Bellas arrive at a base in Rota, Spain, where they meet liaisons Chicago and Zeke. They encounter other bands on the tour, including the competitive female quartet Evermoist, who use instruments, leaving the Bellas feeling out of place. Chloe develops feelings for Chicago, while Fat Amy is confronted by her estranged father, Fergus, a ruthless international crime lord.
The Bellas attend a party at DJ Khaled’s suite, while Amy is lured into a poker tournament orchestrated by Fergus.
